It should withstand some bumps and knocks due to the bumpers surrounding most of the frame, and SanDisk has a built-in strap and separate carabiner to securely fasten the unit to nearby items like a backpack. It’s all about portability and performance with this SSD, which should be available later this year.

Sticking with SanDisk, Western Digital also announced the Ultra Dual Drive Luxe. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but this accessory has a USB-C connector as well as a USB-A port. Western Digital and SanDisk designed the all-metal storage solution to fit on keychains, and despite its small size, the Ultra Dual Drive Lux has 1TB of internal storage.

Western Digital will showcase five storage solutions at CES 2020 targeting console and PC gamers, and the WD_Black P50, which is being labeled the video game industry’s first SSD featuring a SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps interface, appears to be the most innovative. It’s available now starting at $179 for the 500GB model, and will work with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, WD says.

In addition, the WD_Black P10 and D10 can also be purchased today. Both external hard drives are made exclusively for Microsoft’s Xbox One, and Western Digital includes an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial. Storage capacity on the WD_Black P10 ranges from 1TB to 5TB, and the D10 remains limited to 12TB.

Meanwhile, ibi isn’t an entirely new product, but SanDisk’s photo management hub earned a callout in Western Digital’s CES 2020 booth. It serves as local storage doubling as cloud storage. Users can easily grab photos and videos while on the same Wi-Fi network, or they can tap into Ibi from afar through its companion app. With 1TB of internal storage, ibi can store up to 250,000 photos or 100 hours of video. It’s available for $129.
